The Envision Energy Group—China's largest energy conglomerate. With four key business divisions which produce, maintain and supply a massive range of renewable clean energy solutions—from the manufacture of wind turbines to the software that controls the electrical grid network in towns and cities.

Problem

As part of the corporate rebrand, redesign the website including the information architecture / sitemap and layout the web pages that best describe the information hierarchy, structure and presentation of the content.

Solution

Without any data, analytics or website demographics to make informed fact-driven decisions it would be difficult to successfully 'pave the cow paths' based on previous site visitor behaviour. After an in-depth user experience audit of the site, it became clear there was plenty of room to standardise and apply best-practises to the user experience and apply a clear and logical order to the information and content structure.
